On the 10th of December 2017 in Finhome we had a special guest straight from Lappland – Rovaniemi!
Santa Clause spent one hour with all kids from our village and also neighboring villages. There was lots of fun but at first pure excitement as it was his very first visit in Kliny and quite unexpected for all children as they did not really believe they would see him here! The preparation for his arrival was busy as children were decorating the Christmas tree and were rehearsing some songs for him. Santa had some presents for every single child who came to our Finnish house and of course such moment had to be immortalized in the pictures. We hope to see him again next year!
On the 6th of December 2017 Finlandia SPOT has celebrated 100 Years of the Finnish Independence and the grand opening of the Finnish house for our business partners!
Our event was granted the Suomi Sata logo and became a part of the Finnish nationwide celebration. It was the most exciting day in our project as we wanted to get ready for such important day for Finland and with effort of all our business partners, friends and family – we did it! Rieska Leader and Polish Leader “Trakt Piastow”, Major of Czerwonak and representatives of Centria University together with us – have cut the ribbon to make it happen! Borduna was playing many Finnish songs and of course the Finnish National Anthem and we all enjoyed delicious Polish food. On that day we hosted many important people for us and would like to thank them for their support and faith in us.
Our Finnish house will be opend for visitors and local residents in June 2018.
